The climate of Huambo (Angola)
Huambo is a city located in the western part of Angola in the Huambo province. It is also the capital of this province. During colonial times the city was named Nova Lisboa. Huambo is the second largest city in Angola. It was an important city during the Angolese civil war; at a certain moment it declared itself independent. Nowadays it is much quieter here and traveling here should be no problem. Huambo has a warm China climate which is characterized by a dry and a wet period in combination with lower temperatures. The wet period is from October till April. During this period it will certainly not rain every single day. However when it rains large amounts can be expected.
