The climate of Cataratas del Iguazu (Argentina)
Cataratas del Iguazu are situated in the Iguazu National Park in the northern part of Argentina. These waterfalls are situated in a spit of land at a stone’s throw from the border with Brazil and Paraguay. These waterfalls consist of 175 streams of which the highest is about 80 meters. The waterfalls are supplied by the water from the Iguazu River. Many tourists enjoy the waterfalls each year either by boat or along one of the many paths along the river.
The Cataratas del Iguazu have a moderate climate with high humidity figures caused by the waterfalls. Summers are pleasantly warm and sometimes even hot. Winters are mild by Argentinian standards, mainly because of its northern situation. Bear in mind that heavy rainfall is not uncommon. In fact, one in every three days is a rainy day.
