The climate of Caye Caulker (Belize)
Caye Caulker is an island off the coast of Belize. It is a beautiful island ideal for a beach holiday. You can walk on the beach, go swimming, snorkelling or relax on the beach; Caye Caulker is ideal for these activities. The underwater world is very beautiful and temperatures of the water are pleasant all year round. Divers can take a boat to the Blue Hole. This is one of the biggest reefs in the world and simply of an astonishing beauty. Caye Caulker has a tropical monsoon climate. This type of climate is characterized by a rainy period with large amounts of rain in a short period of time. The rainy period is from June till December. Caye Caulker has a risk of getting hit by a hurricane. The most recent hurricane made a deep gully; almost splitting the island in two.
