The climate of Quebec City (Canada)
Quebec City is the capital of the province of Quebec. The city was founded in 1608 and has kept most of its original Haute-Ville charm. The old part of the city is a Unesco world heritage site. Quebec City has a wet continental climate. Summers here are warm and moist with temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius on average. High humidity figures make it feel warmer. Winters are cold with windy days and a lot of snowfall. Temperatures are around -18 degrees Celsius on average. Both autumn and spring are mild and short. During autumn an Indian Summer may occur. Daytime temperatures are quite high. However, night time temperatures are cold. Quebec City gets about 900 millimeters of rain and 316 centimeters of snow per year. Quebec City is one of the snowiest cities in Canada.
