The climate of Bossangoa (Central African Republic)
Bossangoa is located in the western part of the Central African Republic on the banks of the Ouham River. The city is located in the Ouham prefecture of which it also is the capital. The city has its own small airport. The main source of income is agriculture. Mainly coffee and cotton are cultivated here. Bossangoa has a tropical savannah climate with one distinct rainy period. This rainy period is from March till the second part of November. During the rainy period humidity figures are much higher than during the dry period. Average annual temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius. During the night temperatures are around 20 degrees Celsius.
