The climate of Guangzhou (China)
Guangzhou is the cultural, economic and industrial center of the province of Guangdong. This port situated on the Pearl River is a modern metropolis. Yuexiu Park is well worth visiting. This park is a perfect combination of cultural masterpieces. The statue of Five Goats can be found in this beautiful park. In the vicinity of the city several beautiful hills and mountains can be found such as White Cloud Mountain and Pearl Hill. These places offer a nice change to the hectic city life. Guangzhou has a warm maritime climate. Because of the monsoon it is very wet here. Summers are warm and wet. The monsoon is from April till September. Winters are relatively mild and dry and short.
