The climate of Owando (Congo)
Owando is the capital of the Owando district and is located in the Cuvette province. During colonial times the city was known as Fort-Rousset. The city was renamed to Owando in 1997. Since 1997 the city has become increasingly modern. Because the city is home to the Catholic diocese many Catholics live here. Owando has a tropical monsoon climate that is very similar to a tropical rainforest climate. However, July is too dry to classify the climate as a tropical rainforest climate. temperatures are constant all year round. Because of high humidity figures things may feel muggy.
