The climate of Rijeka (Croatia)
Rijeka is a port in the northern part of Croatia and is the third largest city in the country. Rijeka is the largest port in the country; the goods that arrive here are distributed over the country via the Gulf of Rijeka. The pleasantly warm days and sultry evenings make Rijeka an excellent holiday destination. Because of its situation Rijeka has higher precipitation figures than the rest of Croatia. However, clouds dissolve rapidly. The Primorsko-Goranska mountain range makes for a beautiful backdrop.
