The climate of Umag (Croatia)
Umag is located in the most north western tip of Croatia at less than 50 kilometers from beautiful Venice. Umag has a mild Mediterranean climate with warm and sunny summers. The temperature of the sea may rise up to 25 degrees Celsius. During the summer Umag gets about 9 hours of sunshine per day on average. Temperatures may rise up to 25 degrees Celsius as early as in May. Winters are mild with temperatures above freezing point. Umag only gets a few rainy days per month. During fall precipitation figures may be slightly higher. However, rainy clouds dissolve rapidly.
