The climate of Latchi (Cyprus)
Latchi is located in the northwestern part of Cyprus on the Akamas Peninsula and is part of the Polis municipality. The biggest tourist attraction of Latchi are the baths of Aphrodite. Just like most beaches on Cyprus Latchi has pebble beaches and sandy beaches. The tourists that travel here mainly come here to enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings. Just like the rest of the island Latchi has a warm Mediterranean climate with warm and dry summers and mild winters with precipitation. Winters are mild. Extremes in weather are uncommon because of the influence of the Mediterranean Sea. Summers are extremely dry which influences plant and tree life in this region.
