The climate of Taba (Egypt)
The seaside resort of Taba is situated on the Sinai-peninsula on the border with Israel. The desert climate is responsible for hot summers, mild winters and extreme drought. The refreshing sea breeze that is almost always present makes even the hottest days slightly bearable. Taba used to be known because it was a region of conflict between Egypt and Israel. However, nowadays it is one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in Egypt. The mountain of Ras el Nagb and the coral reefs off the coast are the biggest attractions in Taba.
