The climate of Bergerac (France)
Bergerac is an important town in the Dordogne. This atmospheric old marketplace is situated in the south-west of the Dordogne, in the centre of the wine districts. Around Bergerac you find about 120 vineyards. In short a first-class spot to visit throughout the year. For the weather does not necessarily have to be nice to taste wine. The climate of Bergerac is just like in many other places in the south of France and has warm, dry summers. Because it is situated just a little more inland than other places in the Dordogne, Bergerac is not subject to wind coming from the Atlantic coast. This results in less precipitation than in other places in the Dordogne.
