The climate of Burgundy (France)
Burgundy is one of the oldest regions in France. Already in the middle ages Burgundy was a very important district, even parts of the Netherlands belonged to the regions of the Burgundian lords for some time. This district is of course associated with the good life. Greatly enjoy delicious food and good wines and that is possible with summers which, with so many sun hours, produce delicious grapes. Burgundy has a land climate which means that the summers can be warm and the winters can be very cold. In the summer thunderstorms can easily arise because of the hilly landscape and the warm sun.
