The climate of Fréjus (France)
Fréjus is situated at the Mediterranean Sea and consequently profits amply by the splendid climate at this sea. Beautiful beaches and lovely sunny summers provide a first-class holiday destination. But not only the sun-worshippers and aquatic sporters get what they want. The adjacent massive of l’Esterè offers the opportunity of active relaxation for mountain-bikers and walkers. During the dry summer months the area of Fréjus north of the motorway is a risk area for forest-fires. The presence of many trees in combination with the dry weather, particularly with a little wind, creates ideal circumstances for a forest-fire..
