The climate of Cologne (Germany)
Cologne is an old city which was founded by the Romans. Remains dating back to this period can still be admired in the city. The city offers many museums and beautiful churches. Many trendy shops and second hand shops are situated in Cologne as well. Cologne has an exhilarating nightlife and offers many trendy bars and clubs. Cologne has a maritime climate. Summers are pleasant with average temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). Because Cologne is located in the northwesterly lowlands temperatures are slightly higher here during the winter than in other regions. However, subzero temperatures may still occur.
