The climate of Hannover (Germany)
Hannover is a very artistic city located centrally in Germany. The city offers many attractions and works of art which are all connected with each other by a red line that runs through the city. This line forms a route along the most important sites of Hannover. Several museums including the Sprengel Museum and the Landes Museum can be visited here. Throughout the city beautiful statues and architecture can be admired. Hannover has a maritime climate with moderate summers and mild winters. Because of the influence of the sea there are small differences in temperatures between the seasons. Precipitation figures are highest during fall. However, during the summer thunderstorms may form after a long period with warm weather. When an easterly wind blows temperatures may rapidly drop or rise. This is caused by warm or cold air supplied from Russia.
