The climate of Voi (Kenya)
Voi is located in the southern part of Kenya in the province of Pwani. The city is situated near Tsavo East National Park, a popular tourist destination in Kenya. Most tourists who go on a safari in this park spend the night in Voi or in one of the smaller camps in the vicinity of the city. The city has a hospital. Voi is connected to the largest cities in Kenya via a railway. Several metal roads run along the city as well.
Voi has a tropical savannah climate with constant temperatures all year round and low precipitation figures for a tropical climate type. There are two rainy periods, one in April and one in November. Temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius all year round. Because Kenya is close to the equator we advise you to bring sunscreen with a high protection factor.
