The climate of Antalaha (Madagascar)
Antalaha is a coastal town located in the northeastern part of Madagascar. The main source of income for this small town is the cultivation of vanilla. Just outside the city Andranoanala and Lake Ampahana can be found. The city itself doesnít attract many tourists. However, the tourists that do travel here find themselves in a paradise with luxurious beach villas and a beautiful calm bay which is very suitable for swimming.
In the center you can visit several local markets that look very colorful. Antalaha has a tropical rainforest climate characterized by high annual precipitation figures. This climate type is also characterized by constant temperatures all year round. Extremes in weather are uncommon. In December and the first few months of the year there is a risk of tropical storms and hurricanes.
