The climate of Chihuahua (Mexico)
Chihuahua is the capital of the province of Chihuahua. Chihuahua is situated at the beginning of the famous Chihuahua al Pacifico railroad. Chihuahua is situated in a small oasis in the western part of the Chihuahua desert. Several large cathedrals and churches can be admired in the city. The government palace with the Angel of Liberty is well worth visiting too. Chihuahua has a typical desert climate. Extremes in temperatures are not uncommon. Temperatures may differ from -10 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius. During the winter snow may even fall; chances of snowfall are biggest in the vicinity of the hills. Most rain falls during the summer; showers may be heavy. Winters can be characterized as very dry.
