The climate of Bocas del Toro (Panama)
Bocas del Toro is an archipelago off the coast of Panama. The largest islands in this archipelago are: Christobal, Bocas del Toro, Bastimentos, Popa and Coral. Life here is still peaceful and quiet; mass tourism hasnít found the islands yet. Who wants to enjoy a beautiful scenery combined with white beaches and the Caribbean way of life is in the right place here. The waters surrounding Bocas del Toro were among the first to become a preservation area. Divers and snorklers can find beautiful mangroves and reefs here. Large parts of the island are covered with tropical rainforests; several islands are a bird sanctuary. You can go for long walks through the forests or laze away the day on the beach; palm trees and white beaches everywhere. You can really enjoy the peace and quiet here. Bocas del Toro has a tropical climate with a distinct dry period. From May till August precipitation figures are high. Temperatures are around 27 degrees Celsius on average.
