The climate of Constanta (Romania)
Constanta is located on the Black Sea and is the most important port in Romania. Because of the influence of the Black Sea the city enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers. If you plan a visit to Constanta during spring or fall bear in mind that the weather may be unstable. In April things may be spring like with temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). However, bleak weather with temperatures just above freezing point is also very well possible. This also applies to fall, especially November. During the summer the weather is pleasantly warm with temperatures between 22-30 degrees Celsius (71.6-86.0 degrees Fahrenheit). During this period the sea water has a cooling influence making things not as hot here as in the interior.
