The climate of Kibungo (Rwanda)
Kibungo is located in the southeastern part of Rwanda in the Ngoma district in the East province. From Kibungo you can take a paved road to the border with Tanzania. Kibungo is a small town visited by only few tourists. The people that do travel here mainly use it as a stop-over on their way to other destinations. Several small hotels and a motel can be found here. Kibungo has a tropical monsoon climate with two distinct rainy periods. These rainy periods overlap during the last few and the first few months of the year. Summers are much drier and the best period to visit Kibungo.
