The climate of Skukuza (South Africa)
Skukuza is situated in the Krugerpark and is seen as its capital. Many tourists use this place for an overnight stay in the park. Several accommodations and restaurants can be found here. A large group of elephants live in the vicinity and a family of hippos live in a nearby river. If you are unfortunate you might experience the squabble between two groups of baboons.
Skukuza has a moderate savannah climate which is also known as a China climate. Summers are long and wet. During the summer temperatures are around 22 degrees Celsius on average. Winters are dry. Temperatures are not too cold. Subzero temperatures only occur at ground level. Bear in mind that seasons are opposite of ours just as they are in the rest of South Africa.
