The climate of Conil de la Frontera (Spain)
Conil de la Frontera is a small but popular holiday destination on the Costa de la Luz in the southern part of Spain. The city is located in the Cádiz province in the Andalusia region on the Atlantic Ocean. Six popular beaches can be found in the vicinity of the city. During the summer these beaches are crowded with Spanish tourists. The city is known for its typical white houses that form a beautiful contrast with the green background of Cádiz. Concil de la Frontera has a warm Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. A so called Levante wind may blow in the city which may cause inconvenience. During the summer average temperatures are just above 30 degrees Celsius (86.0 degrees Fahrenheit). Precipitation figures are low all year round. Long lasting showers only occur during late fall and early winter.
