The climate of LlanÁŗ (Spain)
LlanÁŠ is an old city located in the northeastern part of Spain in the Catalonia region on the Costa Brava. The city consists of two parts: LlanÁŠ and Port LlanÁŠ, these two parts are located at 1.5 kilometers from each other. The city attracts fewer tourists than other former fishing towns along the Costa Blanca. The cities of Roses and Lloret de Mar have better facilities for mass tourism than LlanÁŠ. However, LlanÁŠ does have a harbor which is suitable for large sailing boats. The harbor is also used as a fishing port. LlanÁŠ has a Mediterranean climate with pleasantly warm summers and cool, but not extremely cold winters. Because of the influence of the Mediterranean Sea on the climate extremes in weather are uncommon. Average precipitation figures are low, only during late fall long lasting precipitation may occur. The temperature of the sea is pleasantly warm during the summer and very suitable for swimming.
