The climate of Salou (Spain)
Salou is one of the most famous and one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Costa Dorada. The city is located in the northeastern part of Spain in the Tarragona province in the Catalonia region. Salou is very popular among youngsters. Every year many young people travel here by plane or coach to spend their vacation in Salou. The nightlife of the city can best be compared to that of Chersonissos on Crete. Port Aventura resort is one of the attractions in Salou. The largest rollercoaster in Europe can be found here. Salou has a Mediterranean climate with only few peaks during the year. This is caused by the influence the Mediterranean Sea has on the climate. The pleasant and sunny climate has been the main reason for tourists to visit this city in their thousands every year. Another attraction in Salou are the beautiful beaches.
