The climate of Pattaya (Thailand)
Pattaya is a famous seaside resort in the eastern part of Thailand. Pattaya is located in the Chonburi province. Pattaya attracts many tourists, mainly Americans. Pattaya’s nightlife is very popular. People from all over the world come here to enjoy the nightlife. During the day many activities can be enjoyed as well. For the more active people among us several water sport activities can be enjoyed. A golf course is in the vicinity. Several Natural Reserves can be found in the vicinity, such as the Million Years Stone Park and the Panarak Park. An elephant city can be visited as well. Here you can see how the elephants work and are being trained.
Pattaya has a tropical savannah climate. This climate can be divided into two types; a rainy period and a dry period. The rainy season starts in May and lasts till October. During this period much rain falls and tropical storms and hurricanes are not uncommon. The dry period is the best time to visit Pattaya. Temperatures are more pleasant and rainfall is much less.
