The climate of Key Biscayne (Florida
- United States of America)
Key Biscayne is an island off the coast of Florida. Two large parks
can be found on the island: Crapton Park and Bill Baggs cape Florida
state park as well as a large marina. Just like the rest of Florida
Key Biscayne has a subtropical climate. It may get fairly warm here.
However, an ever blowing ocean breeze offers some cooling. Most
precipitation falls during the summer and humidity figures are high.
This combination may cause heavy thunderstorms. However, these are
always short lived. During the winter Key Biscayne is one of the
warmest places in the United States. Key Biscayne has beautiful wide
beaches and is ideal as a winter sun destination. Because Key Biscayne
is located near Miami it is an ideal starting point to explore
Florida. Via the Rickenbacker Causeway you can travel back to the main
land in no time.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
