The climate of Sarasota (Florida
- United States of America)
Sarasota is a suburb of Sarasota City and is an ideal starting point
to visit the main attractions in this region. Downtown Sarasota and
Palm Beach are located in the vicinity which makes this a quiet
starting point for a vacation in Florida. During the winter which is
the best time to visit the region it may be crowded here. During the
winter the weather is very pleasant with low precipitation figures.
There is also no risk of hurricanes during the winter. During the
winter average temperatures are about 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees
Fahrenheit). Lower temperatures may occur. However, this is uncommon.
During the summer it may be very warm. During warm days the
atmospheric pressure may rise which results in heavy thunderstorms.
During the summer humidity figures are also high which may cause a
muggy feel.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
