The climate of McCall (Idaho - United States of America)
McCall is a small vacation village located in the western part of Idaho in Payette National Forest. McCall is located in Valley County on Lake Payette. A small skiing area can be found in the vicinity of the village: Little Ski Hill with only one lift. There is a possibility to go skiing during the night here. A little further from the village Tamarack Resort can be found which has 39 slopes and 5 lifts. During the summer most tourists stay along the lake where several artificial beaches were made.
McCall has a moderate continental climate with extremely cold winters and short and mild summers. During the winter most precipitation falls in the form of snow. Summers are short and pleasant with average daytime temperatures just below 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit).
