The climate of Annapolis (Maryland

Annapolis is the capital of Maryland which is one of the most
prosperous states in the United States of America. Because of its
location in the vicinity of both the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay
Annapolis has a warm maritime climate with fairly mild winters and
warm summers. During the summer average maximum temperatures are
around 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). During the winter
temperatures are between 5-11 degrees Celsius (41-52 degrees
Fahrenheit), which is fairly mild. In December, January and February
subzero temperatures during the night are not uncommon. During this
period it may occasionally snow as well. However, most snow melts
within a short period of time. Annapolis has a fairly wet climate with
about 1,100 millimeters of annual precipitation. Precipitation is
quite evenly spread out over the year. There is no distinct dry
period. However, precipitation figures are slightly lower in February,
April and October.
