The climate of Henderson (Nevada - United States of America)
Henderson is located in the southeastern part of Nevada between the cities of Las Vegas and Boulder City. Henderson is located in the vicinity of Lake Mead national recreation area as well as the famous Lake Las Vegas. Because Henderson is located near Las Vegas many tourists visit the city every year, almost all of whom travel here to try their luck on the Las Vegas strip.
Henderson has a warm desert climate with mild winters and very hot summers. During the summer temperatures occasionally rise above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). During the summer precipitation is uncommon causing the entire region to be very dry and dusty. During the winter precipitation figures remain low. During the winter temperatures remain pleasant. However, during the night and early morning subzero temperatures may occur.
