The climate of Virginia Beach (Virginia - United States of America)
Virginia Beach  is located on the east Coast of the state of Virginia. Virginia Beach is a large seaside resort with a long and wide beach. Along the beach many hotels, restaurants and apartments are situated. Virginia Beach is also known as Resort City. During the summer surfing competitions, beach volley tournaments and other sports activities are held here. The main source of income is tourism. Other sources of income are its two universities and several military bases.

Virginia Beach has a warm maritime climate. During the summer it is pleasantly warm and the weather is ideal to spend your day on the beach. However, during the summer showers are not uncommon. Winters in Virginia Beach are mild. Occasionally subzero temperatures can be recorded during the winter. Snowfall is uncommon. Virginia Beach has four distinct seasons. There are small differences in temperatures between the seasons. Early spring temperatures start to rise and fall is pleasantly mild as well.
