The climate of Cruz Bay (U.S. Virgin Islands)
Cruz Bay is located on the island of Saint John. Cruz Bay is the largest city on the island and the most important centre of the city. Besides the ferry terminal most of the shops on the island can be found here as well. For most of the tourists Cruz Bay is the starting point for their journey on the island. From here most of the tourists go to the Virgin Island National Park which is in the vicinity. Besides some shops and restaurants this city has little to offer.
Cruz Bay has a tropical climate with pleasant temperatures all year round. The temperature off the water is pleasant to which makes it an ideal spot for water sports enthusiasts. Rain falls all year round. Usually it is just a shower. During the last months of the year most precipitation falls. During these months it may feel clammy and muggy. During the second part of the year tropical storms and hurricanes may occur.
