The climate of Saalbach-Hinterglemm (Austria)
The municipality of Saalbech-Hinterglemm consists of two cities, Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Saalbach-Hinterglemm is an excellent skiing resort both for beginners and Alpine skiers (2,800-4,400 meters) from here you can descend all the way down to the village. During the summer you can go hiking or mountain biking. The skiing lifts still operate during the summer so you can go walking at high altitudes. The village is located at 100 kilometers from Salzburg. The Glossglockner Hochalpestrasse is located at about 40 kilometers. The region has high precipitation figures, bear this in mind when you go for a long walk and be sure to bring an umbrella. Saalbach Hinterglemm has a continental climate.
