The climate of Hastings (Barbados)
Hastings is located in the south western part of Barbados. Hastings is
a small seaside resort with several hotels, restaurants and bars. The
village of Hastings attracts many water sport enthusiasts because of
the firm wind that blows here. For the less sporty people the
beautiful white sand beach offers a pleasant alternative.
Hastings has a tropical savannah climate. This means temperatures are
pleasant the year round. The temperature of the water is pleasant as
well. Hastings has a dry period and a wet period. Most of the rain
falls from June to August. This is also the warmest period in the
year. During the second half of the year hurricanes and tropical
storms may occur.
