The climate of Serowe (Botswana)
Serowe is a large city in the central eastern part of Botswana. Serowe
is located in the Central district of which it also is the capital.
When Botswana was a British colony and was called Bechuanaland Serowe
was a popular destination for western immigrants who settled here. The
first president of Botswana, Sir Seretse Khama, was born here. A
statue of him can still be found here. Serowe has a warm steppe
climate with little precipitation. Most of the rain falls from October
till March. The rest of the year Serowe gets no rain; which cause
humidity figures to be very low. Night time temperatures may be cold.
