The climate of Jinan (China)
Jinan is one of the oldest cities in China and has been inhabited for at least 4,000 years. Jinan is the capital of the province of Shandong. A large number of natural springs can be found here which were already visited by the emperor in the past. Besides these springs one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in China can be found here as well as the Thousand Buddha Mountain. There used to be a temple at the foot of this mountain after which the mountain itself is named. Besides the cultural and historical attractions Jinan is a modern metropolis with many shopping malls and museums that offer a lot of entertainment. Jinan has a warm China climate characterized by very wet summers. Spring and autumn are transitional seasons in which it may rain. Winters are cold and dry.

More climate information
