The climate of Tamarindo (Costa Rica)
Tamarindo is located on the west coast of Costa Rica on the Pacific Ocean on the Nicoya peninsula. Tamarindo is a popular destination within Costa Rica and is often used as a place to relax after a visit to the interior of the country. Tamarindo is also an ideal place for surfing. The best way to reach the village is by plane from San José. It can also be accessed by paved road. Tamarindo has a tropical savannah climate with a distinct wet and a distinct dry season. The rainy season is from May till October. During the rainy period humidity figures may rise. The temperature of the sea is constant and pleasant. Daytime temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius all year round. Night time temperatures are a few degrees lower.
