The climate of Sibenik (Croatia)
Sibenik is the capital of the province of Sibenik-Knin and is situated on the Adriatic coast. Sibenik has a Mediterranean climate with mild and wet winters and dry and warm summers. The city is situated at the mouth of the Krka River which is said to be one of the most beautiful rivers in Croatia. Off the coast of Sibenik several islands – never visited by tourists - are situated that give you an insight into traditional Croatian life. In the vicinity of Sibenik the Krka Natural Reserve is situated which is known for its many waterfalls and lakes.
