The climate of Nissi Bay (Cyprus)
Just outside the popular seaside resort Ayia Napa the popular beach of
Nissi Bay can be found. The most popular beach of this bay is Nissi
Beach which is situated on the leeward side of Nissi Island which is
situated off the coast. This island also has a beach. The beach is
surrounded by luxurious hotels and is one of the most popular beaches
in this part of Cyprus. A small marina can be found on Nissi Island.
Nissi Bay has a Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the
Mediterranean Sea. During the summer daytime temperatures are just
above 30 degrees Celsius. However, peaks in temperatures above 40
degrees are not uncommon. During the warmest part of the day an ever
blowing sea breeze offers some cooling. The temperature of the sea is
very pleasant, especially during the summer.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
