The climate of Frederiksberg (Denmark)
Frederiksberg is a large city located in the northeastern part of the Zealand / Seeland Island. The city is part of the urban area of Copenhagen and is actually an enclave in the capital. The biggest attractions include Frederiksberg Palace and Copenhagen Zoo. Because of its spacious layout and the presence of many city parks Frederiksberg is one of the most expensive cities in Denmark to live in. In terms of population figures Frederiksberg is the fifth largest city in the country. Frederiksberg has a moderate maritime climate. Because of its location in the northeast it is slightly colder here than in other parts of the country. The Baltic Sea strongly influences the climate of Frederiksberg. Because of this influence extremes in weather are uncommon. However, when the Baltic Sea freezes over temperatures may drop. During the summer average daytime temperatures are around 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit).

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather, extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate information for each month of the year:
