The climate of Møn (Denmark)
Møn is an island located in the Baltic Sea between Zealand and Falster. The biggest tourist attraction are the white chalk cliffs Møns Klint. These cliffs have an altitude of almost 150 meters and stretch for about 8 kilometers. The island is connected with the islands of Zealand and Falster by the Queen Alexandrine bridge and the Farø bridges. In several churches on the island you can admire medieval frescos. Møn has a moderate maritime climate with cool summers and moderate winters in which extremes are uncommon. This means the island can be visited all year round. The climate in this region is influenced by the North Sea. Precipitation is quite evenly spread out over the year. During the coldest days of the year precipitation falls in the form of snow or sleet.
