The climate of Norwich (England)
Norwich is a city in the eastern part of England. The city was founded during the Iron Age. Norwich’s extensive history can be enjoyed during one of the sightseeing tours; don’t forget to visit Norwich’s castle and cathedral. In the vicinity of Norwich the Norfolk Broads can be found; a beautiful nature reserve, a large area of wetlands which in fact were the result of medieval peat excavations. Many unique species of animals and birds live here; the area is also ideal for fishing. The landscape invites you to go walking or cycling which are ideal ways to discover this nature reserve in all peace and quiet. Because of the large amounts of water the area is ideal for fishing and other water sports. Norwich’s weather is very unstable. Winters are slightly warmer than in the north of England. A cloudy start of the day may change into a sunny afternoon. The coldest months are December, January and February. Although it may snow here a white Christmas is uncommon. Summers are pleasantly warm with temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius on average.
