The climate of Les Deux Alpes (France)
Les Deux Alpes is a popular wintersport resort in the
French Alps and is regarded as the
smaller brother of Alpe d’Huez. This village is situated at an
altitude of 1650 meters and is known because from here you can ski
down from the glacier the whole year through (from an altitude of
ample three-thousand meters). Also in the Tour the France Les Deux
Alpes is a popular ride with most of the time a surprising outcome. In
the winter months the snow-line is at approximately some 1500 meters.
The winters can be very cold here but sometimes feel very agreeable
because of the sun..
