The climate of Saint-Malo (France)
Saint Malo is a place on the north-east coast of Brittany. This former pirates’nest is attached to Brittany’s mainland by only one road. Saint Malo was a very important mercantile port for the French, but was unfortunately destroyed for the greater part in the Second World War. The old fortress has been restored and rebuilt. The tide plays a big role in Saint Malo, the difference between ebb and high tide is in some places more than 16 meters. That is why the weather here is thoroughly influenced by it. The average temperature in Saint Malo in the summer is about 20 degrees. It rains regularly there, but only just some drizzly rain and it is also over very quickly. This is caused by the seabreeze.
