The climate of Faliraki on the island of Rhodes(Greece)
Faliraki is located in the northern part of the island Rhodes on the Faliraki Bay. Faliraki is a popular holiday destination on Rhodes. There is a 5 kilometer long beach of which a part is reserved for nudists. If you want to experience Greek culture you shouldn’t visit this place. However, if you want to go to Chersonissos of Rhodes you are in the right place. The city has a lively nightlife and many bars and restaurants can be found in the center. If you prefer a little more peace you can enjoy your dinner in one of the restaurants in the old harbour. Faliraki has a warm Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the Aegean Sea. Winters are cold and wet with many days with long lasting precipitation. Summers are warm and very dry; rainfall during this period is scarce. During the hottest days of the year an ever blowing sea breeze offers some cooling.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather, extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate information for each month of the year:
