The climate of Ixia on the island of Rhodes(Greece)
Ixia is located in the north of the island of Rhodes not far from the
city of Trianda. The capital of Rhodes, Rhodes-City also is in the
vicinity. Ixia can actually be seen as a suburb of the capital. Ixia’s
surroundings are very popular with wind surfers. Many surfing schools
can be found in the area. Ixia also has several cosy bars and
restaurants and several luxurious hotels and resorts. Ixia has a warm
Mediterranean climate which is slightly colder than the climate in the
south western part of Rhodes. Summers are pleasantly warm with
temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius. During the hottest days of the
year temperatures may even rise higher. Winters are colder and much
wetter.
