The climate of Koutouloufari on the island of Crete (Greece)
Koutouloufari lies in the vicinity of the popular seaside resort of Chersonissos. Because Koutouloufari is situated in the vicinity of Chersonissos it is an ideal destination for those who want to party at night but don’t want to be among the many tourists during the day. Several bars and cafés can be found in Koutouloufari. However, if you want to enjoy the big discotheques and beach parties you really should go to Chersonissos. Because Koutouloufari is situated in the interior there is no beach here. Koutouloufari has a warm Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the Mediterranean Sea. There is no refreshing sea breeze here which does blow in most ports on Crete. Because of this it may feel warmer during the hottest part of the day than it actually is. Most of the rain falls during the winter. During the summer rainfall is uncommon.
