The climate of Rhodes-City on the island of Rhodes(Greece)
Rhodes-City is the capital of the island of Rhodes and is situated in the most northern tip of the island on the Aegean Sea. The city is known for its lively nightlife. Many bars and discotheques can be found here. One of the seven world wonders, The Colossus of Rhodes stood high over the entrance of the port. The old city center is a Unesco world heritage site. Many restaurants and gift shops can be found in the old city center. Rhodes_City has a warm Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the Aegean Sea. Summers are warm and dry. Winters are cold and wet. During the hottest days of the year you might want to find a spot in the shade near the sea.
